Shipping and Return Policy

Priority One Surplus specializes in genuine military surplus gear, outdoor equipment, and survival gear. We ship orders from our location in Hamburg, Pennsylvania. This Shipping and Return Policy outlines our processes for shipping, delivery, returns, refunds, and exchanges. By placing an order on www.priorityonesurplus.com, you agree to these terms.
1. Shipping Information
Order Processing Time
Orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays and high-volume periods). Processing time does not include transit time.
Shipping Methods and Estimated Delivery Times
We use reliable carriers such as USPS, UPS, or FedEx for domestic U.S. shipping. Estimates (approximate; not guaranteed):
International shipping is not currently offered. Delivery times are estimates only. Delays may occur due to carrier issues, weather, holidays, or other factors beyond our control.
We may occasionally change the carrier of your order to help with the speed of shipment. If an order is placed after UPS/Fedex has picked up for the day, the package may be sent USPS (using an equivalent rate) so that the package will go out on that day. If your order must be sent with the chosen carrier, please leave us a note on your order.
Shipping Costs
Calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, destination, and selected method.
Shipping charges are non-refundable, even if the order is returned (unless the return is due to our error and we approve reimbursement—see below).
Occasionally a package cost may be calculated incorrectly. If the amount paid is more than $5 over the actual cost, we will refund the customer the excess amount.
Order Tracking
You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details once your order ships. Track via the carrier's website.
FTC Compliance (Mail/Internet Orders)
We ship within the time promised at checkout or, if no specific date is given, within 30 days of receiving a properly completed order. If we cannot ship on time, we will notify you promptly, provide a revised date, and offer the option to cancel for a full refund (including original shipping costs if no items have shipped).
2. Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges
Military surplus items are genuine used or issued gear and are sold "as is" with potential for normal wear, fading, minor imperfections, or variations in color/style/condition from what is shown in photos. We inspect items before shipping and describe conditions accurately, but surplus nature means exact new-like condition is not guaranteed.
Return Eligibility
Free returns are accepted only if we are at fault (Fault Based Returns):
Item arrived damaged (not due to shipping carrier mishandling).
Wrong item shipped.
Wrong size or color sent (as specifically ordered).
Item condition does not match advertised condition. (Damaged, Used item when its supposed to be New)
Free returns are NOT accepted for:
Change of mind, buyer's remorse, or fit/preference issues.
Items that do not meet expectations due to normal military surplus wear/use. This includes smells, dirt, stains, or normal wear and tear.
Items damaged after receipt.
Items without proof of purchase (order number required).
All returns are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
If the items returned are not in the original condition (tags removed/missing, the item was washed, the item was damaged, the item was used or worn) a full refund will not be accepted. Severity of the condition will determine the amount refunded.
Return Window
You must contact us within 14 days of delivery to report a fault-based issue and initiate a return. Returns outside this window are not accepted.
Return Process
Email us at priorityonesurplus@comcast.net with your order number, photos of the issue (if damaged), and details. We will review and approve/deny within 2–3 business days.
If accepted, we will provide return instructions.
Pack securely and ship back using your preferred carrier (trackable recommended). A free return label will be provided in fault-based returns.
Buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs (excluding fault-based returns).
Once received and inspected (usually 5–10 business days), we will process refund/exchange if eligible.
Return Shipping
Buyer pays return shipping costs (excluding fault-based returns).
We do not provide prepaid labels (excluding fault-based returns).
Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable (excluding fault-based returns).
If damage occurred during transit (carrier fault), file a claim with the carrier directly (we can provide documentation if needed).
Refunds and Exchanges
Refunds issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after inspection.
Partial refunds may apply if item shows additional customer damage.
Exchanges subject to availability (contact us to check stock).
No store credit offered unless mutually agreed.
3. Damaged in Transit
If damage appears due to shipping (e.g., crushed box), contact the carrier first for their claim process. Provide us with claim details—we may assist but are not liable for carrier damage.
4. Cancellations
Cancellations possible only before processing/shipping. Contact us immediately.
Once shipped, use the return process (if eligible).
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with new effective date.
