H Bandage Comprehensive Combat Dressing (JFAK)

A universal severe trauma dressing, the H Compression Bandage serves as an emergency dressing and a hemostat for arterial bleeding and hemorrhaging in limbs. It can be deployed one-handed for use under any condition.

The bandage is a sterile, non-adherent dressing for severe trauma wounds. The bandage consists of an 8" x 10" ABD pad fastened to a 4" x 5' elastic wrap (stretches to 16 feet). The ends of the wrap have VELCRO® fasteners and the plastic H-shaped cinch on top of the pad gives the added compression strength and stability needed for large wounds.

When applied, the H Compression Bandage, combined with PriMed Compressed Gauze, places heavy pressure over and into the wounded area. Initial clinical test results have proven that the H Compression Bandage will act as a hemostat for arterial bleeding in limbs, a critical component in the dressing's functionality. This all-in-one emergency and combat bandage for all traumas can be used by corpsmen, medics, first responders, and individuals.
