US Military M56 Ammo Pouch

The M56 web gear set was the primary field gear for the US military from the late 1950s up till the 1970s, with some units using pieces well into the 1980s. The M56 Ammo Pouch is designed to hold two 20 Round M14 magazines, but were also used with 20 Round M16 magazines, with a sock stuffed in the bottom to keep them easier to grab. Each pouch can also carry 2 hand grenades on the sides. The ALICE clips can be attached to any pistol belt, or ALICE webbing, and the top strap can be attached to suspenders to keep the pouch from flopping over.

CONDITION

Very Good - Will show only minor signs of use. May have minor fading, minor corrosion on metal hardware, or the occasional sharpie name or service number. From a few feet away, they will look brand new. 

Used - Will show signs of field use. Fading, sharpie names/numbers, minor corrosion on hardware. They will NOT have any damage, holes, fraying, or broken hardware. They are still functional, and have years of field use left.
